Carpool from Chandigarh to Rohtak, Jind and Bhiwani
Every Friday and Sunday, cars leave Chandigarh for Rohtak, Jind and Bhiwani, and come back again. Students going home, people working in the tricity whose families live in Haryana, government employees between postings. Most of those cars have empty seats, and the bus is slow.

- Chandigarh to Rohtak, about 245 km, through Ambala and Kaithal or by Panipat.

What it costs

- Chandigarh to Jind: about 11.7 litres, ₹1,184. Shared by four, ₹296 each.
- Chandigarh to Bhiwani: about 15.3 litres, ₹1,551. Shared by four, about ₹388 each.
Tolls are split the same way. The exact amount depends on the car, the road you take and the price of petrol that day.

- Fix a pickup point that suits the route, such as a petrol pump on the highway, not a lane inside a sector.
